After debating a few different ideas, the third installment of the Taylor trilogy will be called…
If the name Mickey sounds familiar, that’s because it is. This Mickey is the same Mickey you met in Dangerous. This time, though, he’s a little bit older. In fact, this story takes place 15 years after the emotional rollercoaster we went on in Diamond Geezer.
So, what can you expect from Mickey this time around?
Mickey and his brother, Martin, have built up one of the biggest criminal networks in London. They’ve gotten sophisticated about it, too. Specifically, they’re hiding their seedy dealings behind legitimate businesses that serve as a “front”. Everything is moving along swimmingly, until Mickey finds himself smack bang in the middle of two big conflicts.
And that’s when Mickey’s war begins.
If you read Dangerous, you know that Mickey can be… well… intense. So, you can probably only imagine the highs and lows he’s going to experience this time around! You won’t have to wait much longer to go on the ride with him, though, because the book has officially been sent off to the proofreader!
Once the proofreading is done, there will only be one more loose end to tie up — the book cover itself. Again, like last time, I’m going to share the fun of choosing a cover. I’m actually going to let you help me choose the final book cover design. I figure it’s the least I can do to thank you for all of the support you’ve given me over the years!
A title, a cover, proofreading… We’re almost done! Mickey’s War should be ready for you to read in October. I can hardly wait for you to see it!
