As nervous and excited as I was to launch this book, I couldn’t have imagined all of the success it would have. Dangerous has made it all the way up to #43 on the Amazon charts, the Kindle sales are great, and I’m always meeting new people who love it!
I’ve gotten to reconnect with a lot of old friends, too. So many people from my past saw that Dangerous had been released, and it gave them the perfect excuse to get back in touch after all these years. Both new and old, my friends have given me so much support. They provide such great motivation as I plug through my second (and, eventually, my third) book. Without my “baby”, I would have missed out on so many great people!
In addition to the birthday, Dangerous is celebrating another milestone. It’s being turned into a video trailer! (Is there a keepsake out there that says “Baby’s First Movie” on it?!) I got to spend a day with the film crew, and it was so much fun!
Now that my “baby” is a little bit older now, I realize that I’ve changed in some ways and stayed completely the same in others. Oh, sure, I may know a whole lot more about the publishing world, but I’m still the gal who types with just two fingers!
After all is said and done, though, I’m eternally grateful for the experience — and all of the people who have made it so memorable. Because you’re all so special to me, I hope you’ll join me in toasting my “baby”. Happy birthday, Dangerous!
