Everyone (including my grandchildren!) may be feasting on chocolate bunnies and hunting for eggs this weekend, but there is a whole lot more to Easter than that. This time of year is really about rebirth and new awakenings.
In fact, if you take the time to put Easter in its true perspective, you can do a whole lot to improve your life!
Life is a journey. Even if you don’t physically go anywhere, you have to grow spiritually and, most importantly, learn how to handle all of the emotions and challenges that come your way. In my book, Dangerous, Terri learns all about this journey by comparing herself to Jesus. After discovering that his struggles weren’t all that different from her own, she winds up finding the strength to go on. After all, if he could do it, so could she!
So, what can YOU learn from Easter?
There is always a way to move forward. Yes, you’ll have to make choices as you go along, but if you trust in yourself, there is nothing that you can’t accomplish. Things may not always be easy, but if you prepare yourself for the tough road ahead (and, in some cases, make sacrifices now that you can benefit from later on), you’ll make it through.
You don’t have to be overly-religious to take time to reflect this Easter. In fact, you don’t have to be religious at all! Instead, simply be grateful for the chance to look at your own life and assess how your journey has gone so far. Even if you decide to make some tough changes, the end result will be well worth it!
Wishing you a Happy Easter, new beginnings, and a future that you look forward to living!
