If you’re a loyal reader of my blog, you know that I headed out of town a couple of months ago to relax and get some major work done on my third book. Well, it was such a successful trip that I’ve decided to do it again!
I had a meeting with my editor, last Friday. Even though this is the third time I’ve gone through this process, those meetings always make me a little nervous. However, I’m happy to report that — aside from a few minor changes — all of the initial writing for the third installment of the Taylor trilogy is done!
So, what kind of work am I actually going to do on holiday?
I’m going to give the book one final read-through! I figure that changing up my daily routine and spending a few days in a spot that’s completely relaxing is the perfect backdrop for this important task. That way, I can concentrate solely on the story, instead of trying to read with all of the regular daily stresses getting in the way!
As soon as I get back from my trip, the book will be sent off to the proofreader. That’s a major step! It means that I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel!
To celebrate this milestone, I’m going to give YOU a gift. After all, you give me so much support that I’m not sure I’d be here without you! So, stay tuned. When I get back from holiday, I’m going to release the name of the book.
Can you believe we’re talking about the final details of this book?! Whoever came up with the phrase “time flies when you’re having fun” was so right!
