If you’ve read any of my blog posts since Diamond Geezer was released, you know that I’ve been so excited to get all of the writing done and officially into the hands of my readers! The wave of emotions has been the biggest natural high I could have ever imagined. It’s been hard to concentrate on anything else!
Now it’s time to turn all of that adrenaline into something productive…
I’m going to host a Diamond Geezer launch party at the Dagenham Library on Friday, February 28th, 2014, from 6 to 8 PM, and I’d love it if you could join me! In addition to signing copies of my new book, I’m going to give a quick speech, pose for pictures, and show off the brand new video trailer for Dangerous. And, of course, there will be some yummy treats for all of us to munch on!
As excited as I am to meet some of you, I’m even more excited to announce that this party is going to help people in need. Every time someone buys a copy of Diamond Geezer at the party, all of the royalties will go to Williams Dreams and Tree of Hope for George Morgan.
If you want to help me raise even more money for these wonderful charities, join me at the after party at The Havering Well, 148 Rush Green Road, RM7 0QA . In addition to spending some extra time with my guests, I’m going to continue my fundraising efforts!
For me, this celebration can’t get any better. Not only do I get to show off my new book to all of you, but I get to raise some money for people who really need it. That’s my kind of party!
The charity ‘Williams Dreams’ was started recently by Cath Doughty after the loss of her son in December 2013 to raise money for Queens Hospital and other families of babies born asleep.
‘Tree of Hope for George Morgan’ charity is hoping to £10,000 this year for this 16-month-old baby George who suffered brain damage at birth as a result of a lack of oxygen during labour.
